Actor Guy Kapulnik Dies at 46 in Small Airplane Crash

Guy Kapulnik has tragically handed away on the age of 46.

The actor died in a small aircraft crash in Southern California on September 24, in response to native information shops.

Guy, who was the pilot of the aircraft, died alongside his sole passenger, 33-year-old Taylor Laska. The crash occurred that morning at 9:45am native time in Hesperia, which is about two hours east of Los Angeles.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department reported, “On Thursday, 09/24/2026, at 09:53 a.m., the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department responded to the realm of Summit Valley Road and Telephone Canyon Road in Hesperia for an airplane collision. Pilot Guy Kapulnik, a 46-year-old resident of Los Angeles, was pronounced lifeless on scene. Passenger Taylor Laska, a 33-year-old resident of Santa Monica, was pronounced lifeless on scene.”

The single-engine plane sustained vital injury within the crash.

“Firefighters confirmed two fatalities,” the San Bernardino County Fire Department instructed NBC. “Both people have been positioned contained in the plane. The incident stays below investigation. Our ideas are with the households and family members of these concerned throughout this tough time.”

Guy was an Israeli actor who had a breakout position within the film Room 514, which debuted on the Tribeca Film Festival in 2012. He had a small position in Harrison Ford‘s 2020 film The Call of the Wild.

In addition to being an actor, Guy labored as an authorized flight teacher.
