Trump faucets Jay Clayton as AI czar for brand spanking new activity power

US President Donald Trump on Sunday introduced a White House activity power to coordinate the administration’s response to artificial intelligence (AI).
The group shall be led by director of nationwide intelligence Jay Clayton, chairman of the Federal Trade Commission Andrew Ferguson, Pentagon chief expertise officer Emil Michael and director of the Office of Personnel Management Scott Kupor.
The activity power, named the “Super Intelligence Force” or SI, in accordance with the term that the president prefers over AI.
“The Super Intelligence Force will coordinate the federal authorities’s engagement with customers, public curiosity teams, non secular organizations, essential development projects suppliers, and tremendous intelligence firms,” Trump stated in Truth Social submit on Sunday.
