Trump picks conservative commentator Katie Zacharia to be subsequent press secretary | Trump administration

Donald Trump has chosen the conservative commentator Katie Zacharia to be the subsequent White House press secretary, in response to a White House official.

Zacharia would substitute Karoline Leavitt, who left the function on the finish of August after the start to her second little one.

The New York Times was first to report that Zacharia has been chosen for the function. It was not instantly clear whether or not she has accepted the place.

Zacharia beforehand labored as a spokesperson for the Department of Homeland Security, and now serves as a communications adviser for the Trump Media and Technology Group, which owns Truth Social, the president’s social community.
