Brittany Mahomes is calling out the NFL referees!

If you don’t know, Brittany is married to Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, and at the end of the Sunday (November 1) game against the Denver Broncos, the Chiefs had to score a touchdown to win. In one play, the Chiefs snapped the ball and Patrick threw for a very quick touchdown. However, it was made null and void due to a penalty.

Referees in the game ended up calling a false start penalty on Jaylon Moore, one of the Chiefs’ Offensive Tackles. The call has become controversial, as many don’t think Moore actually moved all that much prior to the snap. However, in other angles of the game, fans thought Moore did commit the penalty.

Over the years, some fans have thought that the “Chiefs get all the calls,” meaning referees favor the team by either purposely missing key in-game penalties they commit against opponents or giving them preferential treatment over other teams

The NFL’s executive director of the Referees Association actually responded to these rumors.
