The New York Times Profiles SC103
SC103, an independent New York fashion label founded by Claire McKinney and Sophie Andes-Gascon, is known for its handmade DIY spirit, as seen in its popular $550 “links tote.” Early on, tote sales made up 80% of the company’s sales, and now it’s closer to 40%. The duo held their first runway show at a gallery in September 2019, and the entire collection was made by hand in their shared apartment.
