Hunger Games’ Ben Wang In Talks for Iceman in ‘X-Men’
Ben Wang, who is set to star as District 12’s Wyatt Callow in The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, is apparently circling another major franchise!
The 29-year-old Karate Kid: Legends actor is apparently in talks to play Iceman in the upcoming X-Men movie, Deadline reports!
Iceman, whose real name is Bobby Drake, is a mutant and one of the original founding members of the X-Men. He has the ability to manipulate ice, freeze objects, lower temperatures, and transform his body into ice. The role was previously played by Shawn Ashmore.

Asa joins previously announced stars Sadie Sink as Jean Grey, Kit Connor as Cyclops, Christopher Abbott as Professor X, Samara Weaving as Emma Frost, Adam Driver as Mr. Sinister, Maya Boyd as Storm, Asa Germann as Angel, and Inde Navarrette as Rogue.
X-Men movie lands a release date
The film will officially be released on May 5, 2028 and is directed by Jake Schreier, who previously helmed Thunderbolts.
