Taylor Swift Reveals ‘Weird’ Habit Husband Travis Kelce Has to ‘Put Up With’
Taylor Swift is sharing a rare glimpse into her relationship with Travis Kelce!
Over the weekend, the 36-year-old Grammy-winning singer took part in a conversation with Toy Story 5 director Andrew Stanton. During the chat, Taylor shared how the friendships depicted in the new Disney-Pixar movie reminded her of her friendship with childhood best friend Abigail Anderson.
“Finding someone who’s the same genre of weird and silly as you are,” Taylor said as seen in videos shared to social media. “Just why Bonnie and Blaze’s story resonated with me so much. When I moved to Nashville when I was 14, you’re the new kid in school you’re like, ‘Who should I be friends with?’”
After noting that many of the girls she met at the time were “cool” and “nice,” everything changed when she sat in class to the red-headed Abigail.
Taylor then joked that all these years later, she and Abigail still talk to each other in different voices and their husbands – Travis Kelce and Charles Berard, respectively – just have to deal with it.
“She even has curly hair, too, like Blaze,” Taylor added. “The two of us, all we wanted to do was talk in Napoleon Dynamite voices. And we still do this. And it’s something our husbands have to put up with.”
The “Patient Zero” singer then mocked herself and Abigail‘s conversations with an impression of Jon Hader‘s character voice from the 2004 cult classic movie.
“It’s just like, ‘What are you doing today?’ ‘I don’t know what are you doing?’” Taylor said. “‘Oh, are you playing with your cute kid?’ Yeah, I am, what’s the problem with that?’”
On a more serious note, Taylor shared the importance of finding a great friend like Abigail.
“When you find that person who just sees you for that strange little genre that is you at your purest,” she explained, “That hit me so hard watching the film.”
