Druski Signs Multi-Year Netflix Deal, Announces New Comedy Series With Mike Epps – Find Out When It Premieres
The 32-year-old comedian and social media star has signed a multi-year deal with the streaming service to develop and produce original series through his company, 4LIFERS Entertainment.
The partnership was announced on Monday (November 2), along with details about his first Netflix project, a new comedy series called Collect & Praise.
The show will premiere on December 1 and feature Druski alongside fellow comedian Mike Epps.
What is Druski’s new Netflix show about?
Collect & Praise is a semi-scripted comedy based on Druski‘s popular megachurch pastor character from his viral social media sketches.
The series follows a money-hungry pastor, played by Druski, and his unpredictable deacon, played by Mike, as they scheme their way through scandals, chaos and controversy.
The new show marks the first of several projects that Druski and his production company will create for Netflix.
“I’ve built my platform by creating characters and comedy that resonate with people,” Druski said in a statement.
“This partnership with Netflix will give me the resources to build on that comedy foundation and bring my work to a new global audience.”
The deal will also bring some of Druski‘s existing content to Netflix, including Coulda Been Love, Coulda Been Daddy, Coulda Been Records Auditions and selections from his comedy sketches.
No additional premiere dates have been announced for those titles.
