Netflix’s “The Altruists,” which follows Sam Bankman-Fried and Caroline Ellison by the scandal that crushed FTX and landed them in jail, is popping out on November 19.

We can’t say we ever anticipated that the moral disconnects behind efficient altruism had been going to pique the curiosity of Hollywood, however hopefully, Netflix will do the strangeness of this story justice.

“From the very starting, I used to be so fascinated by each Sam’s and Caroline’s actual tales,” co-showrunner Graham Moore stated in an interview with Netflix this summer season. “Those are each characters I couldn’t have probably made up had I attempted — I’m not almost a ok author to create characters as fascinating as both Sam Bankman-Fried or Caroline Ellison.”
