Pope Leo XIV thanks wellwishers in first occasion after most cancers surgical procedure

Pope Leo XIV held his first public engagement since his lung most cancers surgical procedure on Sunday, as he recited the Angelus prayer from the window of Vatican’s Apostolic Palace.

The surgical procedure had taken place only a few days earlier than, after Pope Leo had been identified with lung adenocarcinoma, the commonest type of lung most cancers.

After the prayer, he thanked the individuals who have prayed for him in current days and mentioned he appreciated the help. He added he’ll now steadily return to his commitments as he recovers.
