Maika Monroe Goes Gothic in Lacy Black Dress at ‘Victorian Psycho’ Premiere
Maika Monroe is promoting her new movie!
The 33-year-old actress attended a New York screening for the film on Monday night (November 2) in New York City at the Village East Cinema alongside her co-star Jason Isaacs, director Zachary Wigon, and screenwriter Virginia Feito.
Maika wore what appears to be the deconstructed lace maxi dress by Colleen Allen to the screening and Chopard jewelry, including earrings in 18k white gold set with 8.5-carats of diamonds and a ring in 18k white gold set with 1.98-carats of diamonds, both from the Haute Joaillerie Collection.
Jason wore a dark navy blue, two-button unstructured blazer with notch lapels and a solid black crewneck t-shirt layered beneath it. He finished off the look with casual low-top sneakers and matching dark navy blue pants.
Thomasin McKenzie and Ruth Wilson also star, but did not appear to be at the screening.
What is Victorian Psycho about?
Virginia adapted the screenplay for the movie from her 2025 novel of the same name.
“Set in Victorian England, Victorian Psycho sees an eccentric governess arrive at a remote gothic manor, where strange happenings stir suspicion that she’s not what she seems,” is the official synopsis, per the distributor Bleecker Street.
Victorian Psycho will be released in theaters on November 13, 2026 in the U.S.
