Judo: Japan reclaim combined staff globe title with eighth gold in Baku

Today in Baku on the World Judo Championships, the Mixed Team competitors is about greater than medals. It’s about staff spirit, unity and athletes combating not only for themselves, however for one another.

Tamerlan BASHAEV flipped the script to earn a win for his staff. But OMORI Akari clinched the title together with her win, claiming an eighth Team gold for Japan.
International Judo Federation President Mr Marius VIZER awarded the gold trophy.
CEO of Harvest Group Mr Almaz Alsenov awarded the silver trophy.
The two bronze trophies had been awarded by International Judo Federation Vice President Dr. Laszlo Toth and International Judo Federation Vice President Obaid Al Anzi.
