NYC-Based Freelance Creative Stylist — Fantasy Author Photo Shoot & Press
Location: New York City — in-person shoot required; remote preparation
Compensation: $35–$75/hour, depending on experience
We’re seeking a NYC-based wardrobe stylist with a strong creative vision to develop an elevated, distinctive look for a bestselling fantasy author’s upcoming photo shoot, book tour, and media appearances.
The collaboration includes moodboards, overall style direction, outfit planning, clothing and accessory sourcing, and on-set styling for a photo shoot planned for mid-to-late January 2027. Planning and research can be done remotely, with potential for ongoing work later in the year. Scope and hours will be agreed collaboratively; clothing purchases are budgeted separately. Menswear or editorial experience is a plus, and emerging creatives are welcome.

- hourly rate
- and availability, confirming they are based in NYC and can attend the January shoot in person.
