EU fines Google €403 million for improperly utilizing location knowledge
Ireland, on behalf of the European Union, mentioned Monday it had fined Google €403 million for improperly utilizing customers’ location knowledge between May 2018 and February 2020. However, the eight-year delay drew some criticism, because the European Consumer Organisation mentioned that “might be as dangerous as no enforcement in any respect”.
