Cameroon govt pronounces funds as lecturers strike continues

In Cameroon, the beginning of the educational yr for Universities, scheduled for October 5, could not happen. This is because of an indefinite strike launched by SYNES, the National Union of Higher Education Teachers. Teachers are demanding the cost of 16 billion CFA francs in educational bonuses, equal to almost 24 million euros.
