Bella Hadid’s New Scent Smells Like “The First Snowfall”

Bella Hadid‘s fragrance brand, ‘Ôrəbella, is slowly taking over my fragrance wardrobe, one geode-shaped perfume bottle at a time. I love Salted Muse ($100), a luxe marine scent I like to describe as “a siren song, bottled.” (I’m not the only one who thinks so—it won a Who What Wear 100 Beauty Award.) There’s Jasmine Blues ($100), a limited-edition fresh-floral scent that evokes the first spring blooms. I can’t forget Eternal Roots ($100), a floral-woody elixir that combines notes of lychee, vetiver, and papyrus. I could go on and on. The point is that I can personally vouch for ‘Ôrəbella’s cool-girl curation of perfumes, and now, I have another one to add to my collection.
Let me introduce you to the brand’s seventh signature scent: Cashmere Milk. Warm, tender, and toasty, it’s specifically formulated to complement the slowness and stillness of winter. I think Hadid puts it best when she says it evokes a “quiet moment after the first snowfall.” Ahead, read WWW’s exclusive interview with Hadid, in which she discusses the new perfume, the feeling it elicits, and how to layer it with other ‘Ôrəbella fragrances for a custom, winter-specific scent.

‘Ôrəbella’s fragrances are skin-first, meaning they’re hydrating, alcohol-free, and elevated with aromatherapy essential oils. Each one is set in the brand’s signature ‘Ôrelixir base, which combines snow mushroom with five moisturizing oils. Cashmere Milk is infused with cedarwood, cinnamon bark, and bergamot essential oils to boost your mood and enhance your aura.
As for the fragrance itself, it’s cozy, warm, and alluring. Milk, vanilla caviar, amber, and cashmere wood notes stand out. Each one wraps the skin in a smooth, creamy, and comforting scent. A little woody, a little gourmand. Pure winter perfection.

I love the cashmere scent category. It’s warm, soft, and alluring. What inspired you to create a cashmere scent, and how does it differ from others you’ve tried?
I’ve always been drawn to things that feel familiar, that become a part of you over time. Like that one cashmere sweater you always reach for, no matter how many years you’ve had it. It just feels like you. That’s the feeling I wanted to capture with Cashmere Milk. Something soft, warm, and comforting, but still really sensual in its own way.
I love that it has this creamy, almost skin-like quality, with the bergamot, amber, and soft woods adding a little depth. It’s warm without being too heavy, and there’s something really intimate about it. It’s not a fragrance that walks into a room before you do. It feels more personal than that, like an invisible layer you carry with you.
What essential oils are included in this scent, and how do they elevate your aura?
Something that’s always been so important to me with ‘Ôrəbella is how fragrance makes you feel, not just how you smell. Cashmere Milk has three beautiful aromatherapy essential oils, each bringing something different to the experience. Cedarwood has this comforting, woody aroma that encourages a sense of tranquility, while cinnamon bark brings a beautiful warmth and spice that makes you feel cozy and energized. Then there’s bergamot, which adds this fresh, uplifting citrus note that helps create a feeling of calm.
I love how they all come together to create this balance of comfort, warmth, and positive energy. For me, elevating your aura is about finding those little moments to reconnect with yourself, and I wanted Cashmere Milk to feel like a little ritual you can come back to throughout the day. Something that makes you feel grounded, comforted, and connected to yourself.
What memories, emotions, or experiences does this fragrance elicit for you?
I’m really sentimental about things that hold memories, whether it’s a piece of clothing you’ve had forever or a scent that instantly takes you back to a certain time in your life. I love that fragrance can do that without you even realizing it. One second you’re just smelling something, and the next you’re somewhere else entirely.
Cashmere Milk makes me think of that really quiet moment after the first snowfall, when everything feels still, and the world almost slows down. You’re inside, you’re warm, you’re comfortable, and you don’t really need anything else in that moment.
That’s what I wanted this scent to capture. That feeling of familiarity and sense of home. Something you can reach for again and again, but that still feels special every time.
What’s your ideal place or situation to wear this scent?
Honestly, I don’t think fragrance needs a specific occasion. I love the idea of choosing a scent based on your mood and how you want to feel that day.
Cashmere Milk feels especially beautiful on a cold morning, when you’re in your favorite sweater, or at the end of a long day when you just want to slow down and come back to yourself. It’s comforting in that really effortless way.
But I also love it for an intimate dinner or a date night. There’s something about the amber, vanilla caviar, and cashmere woods that gives it this soft sensuality. It stays close to the skin, which I find really beautiful. There’s something special about a fragrance that someone discovers when they’re close to you, rather than one that fills an entire room. I think that’s what makes this one feel so personal.
Are there any other perfumes that you love layering with it?
Yes! I love layering fragrance because it lets you make something your own. Your mood changes, the season changes, and I think your scent can change with you.
Cashmere Milk has this really soft, creamy warmth, so it’s a beautiful starting point. I’d apply it directly to my skin first, then layer Vanilla’s Touch Mist ($39) over it for a little extra sweetness. The combination feels warm, cozy, and almost addictive in the best way.
And if I’m in the mood for something a little deeper, I’d pair it with Nightcap ($72). It adds another dimension and makes the whole combination feel a little more sensual, especially for the evening.
