Grimes Reveals If There Are Any Songs About Ex Elon Musk On New AI-Inspired Album
Grimes is opening up about her upcoming album.
The 38-year-old singer is gearing as much as launch her subsequent LP, Psy Opera, which will probably be her first in seven years when it’s launched in 2027.
In a brand new interview, Grimes shared that the AI-inspired album is not going to have any songs about her ex, Elon Musk.

While showing on the Sunday (October 11) episode of the Swiftologist podcast, Grimes revealed she “didn’t need any of” her new album to be about her former associate.
“I actually didn’t need to write… I simply didn’t need any of this to be about Elon,” she stated.
She did add that she plans to launch the album in two components, and the second will probably be “100% private.”
When requested if she felt her private life was too high-stakes to be open about, she stated, “Not in any respect. I simply… they couldn’t come first.”
“And I felt like these things could be very related,” she added in reference to themes of AI and know-how in her upcoming album. “I form of want I had a bit extra of the feelings on this aspect and a bit extra laptop on the opposite aspect. That’s my solely remorse about this album.”
What does she imply when she says the album is AI-inspired?
“It’s virtually extra of a… like, the AI is a mirror and like wanting inward from what it’s exhibiting us about ourselves,” Grimes revealed.
