’10 Things I Hate About You’ Forged Reunites on ‘DWTS’ as Julia Stiles Honors the Late Heath Ledger During ‘Dedication Night’
The ultimate dance of the night time featured a particular dedication to late actor Heath Ledger.
His 10 Things I Hate About You co-star Julia Stiles honored him along with her “Dedication Night” efficiency on Tuesday night time’s (October 20) episode of Dancing with the Stars.
At the tip of the dance, an emotional voice message from Julia performed as she checked out a photograph of Heath on the display and positioned a rose on a stair. Then, their co-stars Joseph Gordon Levitt, Larisa Oleynik, Andrew Keegan, Susan May Pratt, and Gabrielle Union joined her on stage for a particular second all collectively.
During her dance, Julia and her professional accomplice, Ezra Sosa, carried out a recent routine set to “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” by Frankie Valli.
“I realized rather a lot from Heath… It was really easy with him. I’ve so many nice recollections. I actually want I may choose up the telephone, and be like, ‘Hey dude,’” she stated in her rehearsal package deal earlier than the dance.
Prior to the episode, Julia opened up about rehearsals for the emotional dance.
“I’m truly shocked at how emotional it’s been,” she informed People.
“I do know from watching the present how emotional Dedication Night is. It’s all the time very private tales. But I believed, ‘Oh, I’m distanced sufficient from it. The film was so a few years in the past,’” Julia continued. “But one thing about watching clips from that film, seeing our footage, listening to our voices is mentioning rather a lot.”
“I actually really feel how necessary it’s to honor him,” she added of her late co-star. “He lives on as a result of his efficiency in that movie was so unimaginable.”
During final week’s present, Julia recreated a dance from another one of her fan-favorite movies, Save the Last Dance.
