Thousands protest throughout Colombia towards new right-wing president

Thousands of Colombians protested peacefully throughout the nation on Wednesday towards right-wing President Abelardo de la Espriella, in the opposition’s first main demonstrations since he took workplace in August. Former leftist President Gustavo Petro led a rally in Bogota, joined by commerce unionists, Indigenous teams, college students and feminist activists.
