Lily James Stuns In Off-the-Shoulder Velvet Gown to ‘The Liberation’ Premiere at BFI London Film Festival
Lily James hit the purple carpet in a stunning look whereas attending the premiere of her new film The Liberation held on Saturday (October 10) at Vue West End in London.
The 37-year-old outdated actress donned a white off-the-shoulder gown to debut the Guy Nattiv-directed characteristic through the 2026 BFI London Film Festival.

For her newest purple carpet look, Lily selected a Prada pressed white velvet sheath gown with draped scarf sleeves.
She paired the ensemble with Tiffany & Co jewellery.
Joining Lily on the premiere have been her co-stars Bella Ramsey, Carrie Coon, and Odessa Young, plus writer-director Guy Nattiv.
Carrie is carrying a Valentino Fall/Winter 2026 Ready-to-Wear gown with Repossi jewellery. Odessa donned an Alessandra Rich gown.
In a latest interview, Lily shared how this position is completely different than something she’s carried out earlier than.
“This subsequent position I’m doing is solely completely different. It’s within the horror house, psychological horror. That is [going to entail being] as weak and uncooked as potential,” she advised Flaunt. “Having an incredible director lead you—there may be nothing like that. Having an incredible script and performances within the arms of somebody that’s going to raise and remodel the work that you just’re doing. It blows my thoughts how the administrators [execute,] as a result of it’s all their imaginative and prescient and the way they wish to put it collectively.”
What is The Liberation about?
According to BFI, The Liberation stars Carrie Coon as “Rita, who lives an ‘peculiar’ life as a financial institution teller, spouse and mom. But beneath the veneer of this seemingly peculiar life, she hides the deep trauma of being a holocaust survivor. When she falls into the orbit of the seductive Ricki (James), Rita finds the house to heal. But at what value to her household?”
