FTX COO Constance Waing speaks out
Constance Waing took to X to share her ideas on the trailer, saying that she threw up after watching it.
So many individuals have DM’d me about this trailer and I’ll be sincere, watching it made me bodily throw up.
I used to be COO from earlier than FTX even had a reputation, it was my child, and I used to be the final one out of the Bahamas after Sam obtained extradited. I misplaced all the pieces I had on it and it took me a very long time to recover from, so I’ve zero curiosity in defending the individuals who triggered this.
The media loves the story that FTX blew up as a result of we had been all partying within the Bahamas, however the place I labored regarded nothing like that.
We had underneath 200 individuals within the core firm at its peak, not counting subsidiaries, when different exchanges our measurement had hundreds, so a variety of us had been doing 16 to 18 hour days for over three years and barely had time to sleep, and each time we walked in, day or evening, Sam was at his desk.
I labored with Caroline and by no means as soon as noticed her get aggressive like she does on this trailer. She’s quiet and delicate, and sometimes misplaced in her personal ideas.
Most of us didn’t even know she and Sam had been relationship till we examine it after the chapter, and I by no means noticed him a lot as put an arm round anybody.
FTX’s collapse ruined so many individuals’s lives, together with ours, and Netflix determined to make it a love story. Shame on you.
