Sean Payton: I “do not assume” Patrick Surtain II, Pat Bryant will land on IR

Broncos cornerback Patrick Surtain II and cornerback Pat Bryant suffered ankle accidents throughout Sunday’s loss to the 49ers. There has been some hypothesis that both or each may land on injured reserve.

Coach Sean Payton was requested about it on Wednesday.

“That’s leaping method forward,” Payton informed reporters. “I do not assume so, and in the event that they had been I would not say so, however I do not assume so.”

The key phrases had been this: “If they had been I would not say so.” So he is not saying so. And they will delay the transfer till Saturday with the intention to begin the four-game clock for his or her return with the Week 5 sport towards the Chargers.

For now, it is unlikely both will play on Sunday. It’s even much less seemingly that the Broncos will disclose something greater than what the damage report requires.
