Cease telling girls to speak about menopause at work

More than half of symptomatic girls say they’d really feel comfy telling a supervisor about menopause. Just 21% even have. Here’s what employers are lacking.

Recently, menopause has gone from taboo to mainstream, with celebrities turning “the change” into a standing image and vocal clinicians changing into family names. Those courageous girls paved the best way for extra dialog, catalyzing focus and analysis on girls’s well being, and we must always all be grateful. But what occurs in media and popular culture not often transfers to company tradition.
