Asian Games 2026 Medal Tally: India maintain eighth place after historic medals in wrestling and crusing

India remained in eighth place within the Asian Games medal standings on Thursday after including extra medals throughout crusing, wrestling, squash and archery.India’s general medal tally rose to 64 medals – 10 gold, 22 silver and 32 bronze.China continued to guide the standings by an enormous margin with 288 medals – 154 gold, 71 silver and 63 bronze. Japan are second with 217 medals, together with 59 gold, 79 silver and 79 bronze.South Korea occupied third place with 113 medals – 30 gold, 30 silver and 53 bronze.Uzbekistan are fourth with 56 medals, adopted by Iran with 42 and Thailand with 38. Bahrain had been seventh with 21 medals.

India add medals throughout sports activities

India’s silver medals in crusing and Greco-Roman wrestling had been among the many highlights of the day.Kerala cousins Prince Kurisinkal Noble and Manu Francis gained silver within the males’s skiff crusing occasion.
