Iranian lawyer Nasrin Sotoudeh wins 2026 Vaclav Havel human rights prize

Iranian human rights lawyer Nasrin Sotoudeh was awarded the Council of Europe’s Vaclav Havel Human Rights Prize on Monday for her work defending activists, journalists, minorities and opponents of the dying penalty.
