EU and 5 different nations condemn Russia's 'sham' elections

EU prime diplomat Kaja Kallas on Monday dismissed Russia’s parliamentary elections as a “veneer” of democracy, and mentioned she was proposing sanctions in opposition to those that organised them in occupied Ukraine. Five different nations – the UK, Norway, Australia, New Zealand and Canada – additionally condemned Russia’s transfer as a violation of the UN constitution.
