Viral NATO video falsely framed as ‘warfare propaganda’ towards Russia

A viral NATO video is being falsely framed on-line as “warfare propaganda”, with customers accusing the Alliance of sharing a “promotional video” designed to organize the general public for imminent warfare with Russia. But the footage will not be new: NATO printed it in July 2024 for its seventy fifth anniversary, and it’s been stripped of its unique context. The declare comes as European leaders warn of rising Russian hybrid threats, together with alleged drone, cyber and sabotage exercise. Vedika Bahl explains in Truth or Fake.
